How It’s Made / Studio

The Studio

Boehm Designs comes to life in my studio—a space where making and showcasing come together. It’s my workshop, where I cut, shape, and polish each piece by hand, and it’s also a place where people can step inside, see the process, and browse my finished designs on display.

The studio is about craft, creativity, and connection. When you visit, you’ll find rings and pendants made with care, displayed alongside the very tools I use to create them. It’s a space where you can experience the work behind each piece, try on designs, and take home something truly handmade.

How It’s Made

Every Boehm Designs piece starts in my studio, where simple tools and raw materials are transformed into wearable jewelry. My process combines patience, precision, and a love for bringing new life to everyday objects.

For stainless steel rings and pendants, I begin with repurposed spoons, which are cut, shaped, and smoothed by hand. Each piece is filed and sanded through multiple stages until the edges are comfortable and the finish is clean. The final polishing brings out a bright shine that lasts, making the piece durable enough for daily wear.

I treat each batch of designs with the same care: measuring, shaping, and finishing every single piece to ensure it’s consistent, comfortable, and ready to wear. The work is hands-on from start to finish, and while I repeat certain designs to make them available to more people, the handmade process means every piece still carries its own subtle individuality.
